Monkey Business was founded as a hardware & grip tape company around the year 2000. The brand saw quite a bit of early success through their Monkey Grip line of grip tape in which each rider was given a signature monkey silhouette die-cut logo. The brand also went on to launch a deck brand under the name Monkey Stix, although it was fairly short lived. Today, Monkey Business remains the manufacturer of hardware and wax but has become much more environmentally conscious through use of recycled, post consumed and bio degradable materials, in addition to being a 1% For The Planet member.
